History

Cushman Motor Company is an independent family owned business.

We’ve been supplying our customers with a broad variety of vehicles and other forms of equipment from the same location in Minneapolis since 1949.

What we sold way back when.

In our early years, we were most closely identified with Cushman brand scooters and golf carts. Since that time, we’ve changed our focus from a supplier of recreational vehicles in the Twin Cities to a multifaceted supplier of industrial equipment including compact tractors, utility vehicles, street legal low speed NEV electric vehicles, warehouse vehicles and various types of grounds care equipment to customers throughout the Midwest.

What we sell now.

We’re particularly proud of the long term dealer relationships we’ve built and maintained with our equipment manufacturers. We are experts in anything and everything having to do with equipment made by Ventrac, Steiner, Holder, Cushman, Vantage Vehicles, Columbia Parcar, Westward, Fleet, Ryan and Billy Goat.

One more thing.

People often confuse us with the company that manufactures Cushman vehicles.  That’s not us.  That’s the Textron-Cushman company based in Augusta, GA.   We are an independent, family owned company located in Minneapolis, MN.
